Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SignalChain ("SignalChain", "we", "us"), a product of VybeCode DSP, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the SignalChain website and application at signalcha.in. By using SignalChain you agree to this policy.
Who we are
SignalChain is a release-ops tool for independent audio-software developers. It is built and operated by VybeCode DSP. For any privacy question, contact us at support@signalcha.in.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you register, we store your email address, your name (optional), and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- Your content. The projects, product details, outreach status, generated text and assets, notes, checklists, and uploaded files you create in the app. This content is scoped to your account and used to provide the service to you.
- AI provider keys. If you choose to add your own AI provider API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) in Settings, we store them to make generation requests on your behalf.
- Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics, which collects standard analytics information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions, via cookies and similar technologies.
- Cookies. We set a single httpOnly authentication cookie to keep you signed in. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for measurement.
Guest mode
If you use SignalChain in guest mode, you do not create an account and your projects and settings live only in your browser's memory — they are not stored on our servers and are lost when you close the tab.
How we use your information
- To operate and provide the service — authenticate you, save your projects, and generate the content you request.
- To send your generation requests (your product details and any text you scrape or paste) to the AI provider you select, so it can produce the requested output.
- To store and serve any brand assets and generated images you upload or save.
- To understand usage and improve the product (analytics).
- To maintain the security and integrity of the service.
Third parties and processors
We rely on a small number of service providers to run SignalChain. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the service:
- AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). When you generate content, the prompt — which includes your product details and any product-page text you scrape or paste — is sent to the provider you choose. That provider's own privacy terms govern its handling of the request.
- Cloudflare R2. Brand assets and generated images you save are stored in Cloudflare's object storage.
- Hosting and database (Railway, PostgreSQL). Your account and project data are stored in our hosted PostgreSQL database.
- Google Analytics. For website and app usage measurement.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete a project, it is removed; when your account is deleted, your projects, settings, templates, and uploaded assets are deleted along with it.
Your rights
You can access and update your account information, delete individual projects, and delete your account at any time from within the app. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. Security
Passwords are stored hashed (never in plain text), traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and all project data is scoped to your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
SignalChain is intended for professional and hobbyist software developers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of SignalChain after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
